Nina Del Río es una cantante y compositora de origen argentino que creció en la ciudad de Nueva York. Actualmente estudia composición y producción de Música Latinoamericana en el Berklee College Of Music.
En el 2019 lanzó su primer disco Suncito, inspirado en la mezcla de letras de artistas anglosajones
e hispanohablantes; a partir de este punto inicia en su carrera una etapa de exploración por integrar ambos idiomas, vivencias y culturas en su música.
Clueless es el segundo sencillo de siete canciones que conformarán su próximo disco; un proyecto que podríamos definir como un breakup album influenciado por artistas como: Frank Ocean, Maro, Nick Hakim, Joni Mitchell, Candelaria Zamar y Jorge Drexler, en donde cada pieza intenta lidiar con los diferentes aprendizajes y emociones atravesados durante una ruptura que sucedió en el clímax de la pandemia.
Está teñido de nostalgia y un poquito de rabia, pero más que nada busca un anhelo de paz, transmitir lo aprendido y así poder cerrar ciclos. Cada canción es un paso en el camino que deviene desde la tristeza inicial de una ruptura hasta la ampliación de perspectivas que nos lleva a la superación del duelo.
En este camino Clueless es el momento en el que logras romper la idealización de una persona y te das cuenta de que en realidad merecías algo mejor, pero para llegar a esa conclusión es necesario que aprendas a soltar el enojo. La canción esta inspirada en la música de: Hiatus Kaiyote, Moonchild, Jordan Rakei, Kali Uchis y Lianne La Havas.

Nina Del Río is an Argentine singer and songwriter who grew up in New York City. She is currently studying songwriting, production and performance of Latin American Music at the Berklee College Of Music.
In 2019 she released her first album Suncito, inspired by the mixture of lyrics in both English and Spanish. From this point, she began a stage of exploration in her career by trying to integrate both languages, experiences and cultures in her music.
Clueless is the second single of seven songs that will be part of her next album, a project that could be defined as a "breakup album" influenced by artists such as Frank Ocean, Maro, Nick Hakim, Joni Mitchell, Candelaria Zamar and Jorge Drexler, each piece dealing with the different learnings and emotions experienced during a breakup that happened in the climax of the pandemic.
It's tinged with nostalgia and a little bit of rage, but more than anything it seeks for peace, transmitting what it has learned and thus closing cycles. Each song is a step on the path that goes from the initial sadness of a breakup to the broadening of horizons that leads us to overcome the grief and better understand ourselves.
In this path, Clueless is the step when you break the idealization of a person and realize that you deserve something infinitely better, but to reach that ultimate peace it's necessary to first let go of anger. The song is inspired by the music of Hiatus Kaiyote, Moonchild, Jordan Rakei, Kali Uchis and Lianne La Havas.
